Last fall this family contacted me for photography right near the end of November. With the cold setting in, and color leaving the trees quickly, we decided to do their photo session that weekend and began planning. We settled on one of my favorite locations in Boston, the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University. When we first arrived, it seemed as though all the color was gone, but we were so lucky to stumble across this perfect tree grove! With the evening light fading, we managed to capture some photos with a beautiful sunset glow, as well as a few images shortly after the sun went down.
The next day, temperatures dropped to a chilly 40 degrees, so I see this as my unofficial end-of-the-2016-season photo shoot. I am so glad we were able to fit this session into such a hectic time of the year.
Here are a few of my favorites from this Boston family photo session. Hope you enjoy!
